Broadstripe (formerly Millennium Digital Media) Names Bruce E. Beard as General Counsel

St. Louis, MO (January 8, 2008) - Broadstripe (formerly Millennium Digital Media) announced that it has hired Bruce E. Beard as its General Counsel. In addition to his other responsibilities Bruce will facilitate the growth of the company's footprint by negotiating and structuring acquisition agreements.

Prior to joining Broadstripe Mr. Beard was Senior Counsel with Cinnamon Mueller, a Chicago based law firm focused on representing independent cable and telecommunication companies. Mr. Beard previously served as General Counsel for Millennium Digital Media from 2000-2006. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of the American Cable Association from 2002-2006. Prior to joining Millennium, Mr. Beard was employed as an attorney for the telephone and wireless operations at SBC Communications Inc. (now AT&T) from 1988-2000. Mr. Beard graduated summa cum laude from the Southern Illinois University School of Law in 1984 and received his B.A. with honor from Eastern Illinois University in 1981. He clerked for Chief Justice Howard C. Ryan of the Illinois Supreme Court.
