Millennium Digital Media now known as Broadstripe. "We're on a mission," says the company's new brand positioning.
St. Louis, MO (October 1, 2007) - Millennium Digital Media Systems, L.L.C. has changed its operating name to Broadstripe, effective immediately. This change reflects the company's new mission to improve system reliability, introduce advanced products and services, and provide top quality customer care. Extensive system upgrades and improvements have begun in the three regions operated by Broadstripe, which serves customers in Maryland, Michigan, Washington and Oregon. Substantially increased staffing at the corporate and regional levels is also underway.
Broadstripe President and CEO Bill Shreffler said, "We intend to dramatically grow this company, both through our internal achievements and by acquisition. To help do that we needed a new name that reflected our new mission. Broadstripe is a powerful word. It is bold and steady. Reliable and friendly. And it is simple and easy to remember. Note that it isn't 'Broadstripe Communications' or 'Broadstripe Cable.' It is Broadstripe. A name that we will rally around as we continue to deliver new and innovative products and services to our customers."
Mr. Shreffler outlined the four pillars of the Broadstripe Mission Statement:
- Take care of our customers.
- Take care of our employee team members.
- Do what we say we are going to do.
- Celebrate our successes.
"It is not a coincidence that our colors are red, white and blue," Mr. Shreffler continued. "Broadstripe is an American company. We are proud to live and work in the communities we serve." He added, "We are local, and that is something our competition cannot match. They are large nationwide companies that have a 'one size fits all' strategy. We will be successful by listening carefully to our customers, and being responsive to their needs."
Customers in many Broadstripe markets will begin today to see and hear the new name on all forms of customer contact, including company vehicles, employee uniforms, advertising materials, and when they call the customer care centers. The full rollout to all of the company's operating areas is expected to be completed during the next several months.
