This feature will allow you to "lock" entire channels or specific programs based on ratings.
A purchase code will prevent the ordering of pay-per-view (PPV) programs. If a purchase code is set, you will be asked to enter it to confirm any PPV orders.

Q. What are Digital Music channels?
A. Digital music is an great added bonus to a subscription to Broadstripe Digital Cable. Q. Can I have Digital Cable connected to more than one TV set?
A. Yes, however, a separate receiver and remote is required for each television you wish to connect. Additional receivers are available for an additional monthly charge; no standard discount is applied to any additional receivers.
Q. Is Digital Cable the same as High Definition TV (HDTV)?
A. No, HDTV is a specific kind of digital signal format that requires a special television set. In addition, HDTV-ready television sets may require a Broadstripe HDTV decoder box to enable the set to display an HDTV signal. On the other hand, Broadstripe Digital Cable on the other hand works on the television you already own, so there's no expensive equipment to buy.

Q. How can I control what my kids watch on TV?
A. Broadstripe's digital cable service, Digital Cable, provides you with complete control over what your family can view. Your contol options range from blocking a specific program based on its rating to blocking an entire channel. The following are instructions for activating parental control features with Broadstripe Digital Cable:
To access the parental control menu
2. From the column on the far right of the menu, highlight PARENTAL CONTROL and press OK.
3. Enter a four-digit numerical parental control code. If you have not previously set a parental control code, you will be prompted to do so.
4. Press EXIT at any time to return to watching television.
5. Press MENU to return to the onscreen guide.
How to set a Parental Control Code
1. To set a parental control code, enter a four-digit numeric number from your remote keypad.
2. To change or clear the current parental control code, enter your current four-digit number.
3. If you forget your parental control code, please call our repair service line for assistance in resetting the code.
Setting a Lock
2. Press 3 or 4 until the desired rating or channel appears, then press LOCK.
3. To place a lock on a program title, highlight the program in any of the listings menus, and then press LOCK.
4. You may also press LOCK at anytime while watching television to place a lock on the title, rating or channel applicable to the current TV show.
5. A padlock will appear next to the selection showing that it is now restricted.
Removing a Lock
1. To remove all locks go to the parental control menu, then press 6 and 5 as necessary to highlight the desired selection.
2. Press 3 or 4 until the locked title, rating or channel appears, then press LOCK.
3. The padlock will be removed showing that the lock has been removed.
4. You may also highlight CLEAR ALL LOCKS on the parental control menu and press OK to remove all currently set locks.
Setting a Purchase Code
2. To change or clear the current purchase code, enter your current four-digit code.
3. If you forget your purchase code, please call our local office for assistance in resetting the code.
Note: This setting only appears when a parental code is set. If power to the digital box is lost, all program ratings and titles will be removed for a short period of time and the locks will not work until the data has been restored.
* If you enable this function you will need to enter your parental code in order to watch television following the power loss to the digital box.
* If you disable this function you will not be prompted to enter your parental code in order to watch television following a power loss.
Viewing a restricted program or channel
1.Viewers of a restricted program or channel, will be prompted to enter a four-digit code to access sound and picture.
2. After a restricted program or channel is unlocked the lock will be automatically reactivated when another program or channel is selected.
